  • Second Chance Cafe

Beautiful touching love story and so refreshing to have the protagonist finding love again at age 54.

  • Good, light read

I enjoyed reading this novel. It is a good, light romantic novel, but with added depth dealing with family issues that led me to give it four stars.

  • Second Chance Cafe

Really enjoyed this story about a second chance for love. Not usually a fan of love stories but this one was different, enchanting and very hard to put down. I was pleasantly surprised at the emotions that bubbled up and out of me as I read. Looking for more from this author.

  • Enjoyable Read

This is my first Amanda Prowse book. I enjoyed the storyline, however, I felt the protagonist, Bea, who is 53 acted like a woman in her 70's. She is also supposed to be a successful business woman, however, she had never sent an email, is clueless about technology and is very emotional. This contrast of personality traits made it difficult to believe in her. While I found the story difficult to believe, it was an enjoyable one.

    Thanks for your feedback!
