  • Excellent. Ought to be widely read by young and ol

Being an octogenarian myself, I found it easy to identify with the humour, hopes and worries that comes with increasing age. Very enjoyable, but don't expect this to be a "funny" book. It reflects the up's and down's of real life.

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • Long read

The book started ok but it got tedious from The middle. I thought it would be funnier. All in all a ok read to pass the time but would not recommend it.

  • Required reading......

As someone who used to be in charge of a long stay care of the elderly unit I believe this book should be required reading for all staff, of any grade. Apart from a wonderful story line it would give the reader more insight in what it means to age and about how easy it is for others to exert control over your life.

  • Delightful

This was a delightful book. Well written and very evocative of how we treat the elderly and underestimate many oldies! It was funny and poignant and sad, and I don't want to end up in that home, but I loved the book and heartily recommend it

    Thanks for your feedback!
