    war story

I do like a good novel set in the times of war, makes you cherish our freedom. This was a good easy read that I enjoyed but was left wanting more at the end.

    A good read

I quite enjoyed this book. The only downfall for me was the ending. I think it could have be set up and developed a little more.

    The secret orphan

Wonderful book. Although it was told in the time of war, it didn,t burden you with the actual horrors of war. Well thought out plot and skillfully executed. Lots of twists and turns to keep you reading while holding your interest!

    The Silent Orphan

I enjoyed the book but felt the author disappointed me with her inability to keep to the historical facts in particular dates passenger ships would have been sailing from England. Details matter to those of us who read a lot of historical novels. Also, the ending didn’t feel as though the questions raised at the beginning were resolved.
