    Good-bye Bruce, Hello Caitlyn

I saw this e-book was on special offer and thought it would be an interesting read. It is. I only knew a little bit about Caitlyn Jenner before I read it, mostly gleaned from The Guardian newspaper. I also saw her when she was on the cover of 'Vanity Fair' but I didn't buy the magazine or read the article. I will probably search it out now. I have also never watched Keeping up with the Kardashians and knew very little about the family, only what you can't seem to avoid in the papers and magazines. So I didn't come to the book as any kind of 'fan'. But it is an interesting read. She has come on a courageous journey and the book is well written. It might surprise a lot of people, given the usual image of the trans gender community that Caitlyn is a Republican and quite conservative in her outlook. This is an important point, everyone is an individual and we shouldn't make assumptions about her or see her as a spokesperson for all trans gender people. This is one person's story, and a very interesting and enlightening one.
