    It's OK

I decided to read this before watching the movie on Netflix. It's an interesting story, but at the end I felt a bit let down. There's no real resolution, which after 3 books, I was rather expecting. The place is pretty slow, but it does take time to explore the characters and their background a lot. If none of that sounds like a bad thing, then jump right in, this is probably a perfect book for you. If you're expecting a tight, fast paced sci fi novel, look elsewhere.

    Finished the trilogy

Disappointed that even till the end, how Area X came to be was excluded. Only questions remained after the last page.

    Amazing atmosphere but thats that

I really love how the area X is absolutely real with its stangeness, being so outworly and uncomfortable and yet beutiful and eery. it is a pleasure to read the pages that describe the area, anything else is a bit of a bore around rather two dimensional charactars. blatantly two dimensional. the ending of course does not answer any questions directly but ut does not deliver any valuable messages either.
