    The Storyteller

Brilliantly told story. Very moving. An excellent fictional portrayal of life at Auschwitz which we all should read, harrowing and distressing as it is. Can't recommend this wonderful book enough.

    Typical Picoult

Entertaining - at times funny, and then poignant and moving. I could smell the bread

Another sad story with threads of hope

Have read all her books, liked some, disliked others - this one I'm not sure about?!

    The storyteller

I would never have chosen to read about this topic. I chose it a bit randomly as I like the author. As it turns out, I really couldn't put it down. That is the closest I'll get to understanding what it was really like for those that lived through it.
