    An OK holiday read

Bought it only for the Maldives backdrop, but that is focused solely on Gan and Addu Atoll. Still, quite a fun read.

    Very enjoyable

I read this book in the 1960's and was pleased to get the opportunity to re-read it. Hammond Innes was a great storyteller and this is a good example of his talent. It will seem a bit dated for younger readers, but is a good read.
