  • Loved it

4.5 star review The Stud Next Door (Frisky Business #3) by Kendall Ryan For the last few years I have been devouring single parent stories. I really enjoyed The Stud Next Door as I love Kendall Ryan’s writing style. This is the third book in the Frisky Business Series and is Connor and Jessa’s story and was an entertaining read. When Jessa moves in next door to single dad Connor, she offers her services as a nanny to help with his daughter as she sees he is struggling. Who knew that by hiring Jessa, Connor would find what he didn’t know he was looking for. I fell hard and fast for Connor, he was swoon worthy and his relationship with his two month old baby daughter, Marley just about melted my heart. The chemistry between Connor and Jessa is too hard to ignore, the banter between them witty and it was fun to watch as their relationship developed. This was a heart warming, swoon worthy, entertaining and romantic read that I enjoyed.

  • Enthralled from the start!

While The Stud Next Door is the third book in the Frisky Business series, it most definitely can stand alone. There was something so endearing and intriguing about this book and these characters! Single Dad, Connor, is getting toward the end of his paternity leave and he's in need of a nanny so he can go back to work at Frisky Business, which he co-owns with three of his buddies. Little Marley is the light of his life and he wants to make sure the right person is taking care of her, but finding that person hasn't been easy. Could it be as easy as the girl who is moving in next door? Jessa has moved into a short-term rental in the home of an elderly couple for the summer before she departs for mission work in South America. She's been looking forward to the trip for months and she feels like this change in scenery will do her good. When she meets Connor and Marley, she's immediately taken with the little girl and let's be honest, her Dad isn't bad either! As Jessa becomes Marley's nanny on a short-term basis, she and Connor spend more and more time together, both trying to fight the feelings and chemistry building between them. With her leaving, does it make sense to even start something? I was enthralled in this story from the get-go. Connor was such a great Dad and the way he balanced having a child with his work was great. I also really liked Jessa. She knew what she wanted in life and went after it. They were so good together and add in all their friends and you have the makings of a really entertaining story! I'm looking forward to whatever comes next for this crew!

  • Frisky Business!

This was a fun, insta love story that brings back characters that I have enjoyed reading in the previous stories in this series! This is Connor and Jessa's story. It was a tale of being in the right place at the right time.  Connor is juggling a whole new world of fatherhood, and not very well.  He needs to find help for his newborn daughter and quickly.  Enter a serendipitous arrival of Jessa, baby whisperer and willing to take the job as the nanny on a temporary basis. Jessa is just marking time until she goes international. She is changing her life and starting by helping out the less fortunate. She meets Connor and his daughter and is willing to help until she leaves. The sparks between Connor and Jessa fly! Their chemistry is white-hot and as the story progresses, I admired how Jessa realizes that she doesn't have to run to another country to begin a new life for herself.  She can find it anywhere. If you are looking for a fast-paced, enjoyable read, look no further than the newest story from Kendall Ryan!

  • Cute Single Dad Story!

The Stud Next Door was cute, especially with baby Marley. I enjoyed the storyline and the characters, they were easy to like. Connor is a great and devoted dad who will do anything for Marley. Jessa is a smart and caring woman who wants to help Connor and Marley. These two get along right from the start and have instant chemistry. I enjoyed seeing their relationship grow to be more, even if it did all happen quite quickly. It was an enjoyable book, I just have one question after it, why is Ever never included in anything? He's part of the business yet he gets mentioned only once; I just found that a bit odd. Other than being puzzled by that it was a good series!

  • Connor & Jessa were perfect!

I've enjoyed this series so far and was excited for this book because who doesn't love a reformed playboy turned single dad! Connor was the biggest playboy until he found out he was going to be a dad then came the complete 180 to doting dad. Now what happens when he needs to find the perfect babysitter/nanny for his little princess......the new neighbor next door! Jessa was looking for a change from her helping take care of her big family. She needed to find where she belonged, her own identity. Connor and Jessa were perfect, their relationship was slow burn, sexy and seducing that has you captivated from one page to the next. If you love a great single dad romance, girl next door, workplace romance then this will check all your boxes and leave you begging for more of the Frisky Business men!
