  • So much more than a romance

Ms Milan's heroines are forces to be reckoned with. They are intelligent, resourceful, persistent and courageous women. Against the backdrop of unlikely romances, the author brought thought provoking issues to life. The Suffragette Scandal is so much more than a historical romance, it gives readers an appreciation of the long arduous progress of women's rights movement. This novel is definitely the best of the series. 5/5 stars!!

  • Great title

I found the book very intense. Could not stop reading it. I love the interaction between a Free and Edward and her determination and his insecurities.

  • Brave hearts

Charming and inspiring; great dialogue, wonderful characters. And a love story that unravels slowly and keeps your eyes glued to the pages.

  • Five star teaspoons ....

I've just finished reading this book and as I've already read Talk Sweetly to Me, this is the last in this series for me. Wish there were more... I absolutely love the way Courtney Milan always tells us about the in depth research she does when writing a book. Such very interesting data. This story itself lived up to my every expectation and I loved, loved, loved every single moment of it. It's full off love between two very caring people, family connections, working conditions, the Suffragette concepts, hardship and how they are overcome and so on - and it's written so that it becomes more exciting with every turn of the page.

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • The Suffragette Scandal

The love story of Free and Edward-witty,story of hope over cyncism, equal rights over indifference. The story of two opposites who grow through the other. The story of thimbles of water growing the roses. Just the book when you are feeling a little jaded.
