    The Tea Planter's

I enjoyed this book more than any thing I've read for a long time. The story telling grippeded me immediately but it was the descriptions of the country, sights, sounds, smells and sensations, which held me spellbound. Can't wait to read her next novel.

    Thrilling...engrossing..and an unexpected ending

This book transports you back in time to a place so real...The emotional journey has so many unexpected turns, a lot like real life. Wonderfully written with a good pace.

    Just my cup of tea..

I did enjoy this book and the wonderful story of the tea planter and his young wife. It had me turning the pages well into the night..Quite innocent in its style but still enjoyable. Love Dinahs writing.

    A gripping read

Very well written mixed with fiction and non fiction. I felt I was living the situations of the characters and felt emotionally drained at the end! I will buy the next book when I have recovered!!!

    The Tea PIanter's Wife

A wonderfully evocative portrait of colonial Ceylon and the difficulties experienced by the protagonist and her relationships with her family within the community of local people.
