    An angst-filled page-turner that I loved!

This is an angst-filled page-turner that I couldn't help but love. I do believe it's the first time I'm seeing an author dedicate a book to a singer. I researched the lyrics to "Say Love" by JoJo and I realised it captured so much of AJ's feelings. Friends for all their lives, AJ & Evan have a bond that nothing has ever come between - nothing, that is, until she leaves him stranded, not knowing where she's disappeared to. Told in switches from flashbacks to present day, we have a bird's eye view of not just AJ's pain, but Evan's growing confusion as he realises that his best friend has become as necessary as oxygen to him. Having to share her with his brother only fuels his uncertainty about his place in her life. My main thought throughout was: How could Evan be so blind? I wanted to strangle him sometimes, throw my phone across the room, but then I remembered the title of the book, so I kept reading. I felt AJ's pain acutely. Been there, have the t-shirt to prove it. I liked that she embraced the good sort of selfish, and decided to look out for herself, for once. I definitely look forward to the "Solution to Unrequited"with bated breath. I cannot wait for this story's conclusion. I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book.

The ending is only the beginning.

By listening to her head, she not only broke her own heart, but ruined an always constant friendship. Sometimes the most difficult choice can be the most enlightening in the end. Evan and AJ have mastered the equation of friendship, but what happens when love walks in? Len Webster has crafted a masterful tale of friendship, betrayal and love. Filled with youthful angst, adult themed drama and the hope of a chance to set things right. The ending is only the beginning.
