  • The Trouble With Goats and Sheep.

The lives of various people on one road on an estate are intertwined and confused. People think they know all they need about each other but there are secrets kept. Gracie and Tilly are two young girls who spend their summer holidays looking for God amongst the people on the road. This story is funny yet sad and serious at times. You never know the truth of all the secrets kept by people. Well written and full of humour, mistruths and suspicion.

  • Tales up, tails down

A very cleverly constructed story exploring guilt, shame and bigotry utilising the innocence of children to expose the hypocrisy of adults. This author has created a style of descriptive language which is almost tangible - the heat, the smells, the sounds of British summer in a season of fear.
