  • Travelogue

I wanted a novel but got a tourist guide to canada with a bit of story. the author trief to include too msny threads, having dcicided one of the chractors should be from canada she seems to take the pc option of having his friend be a native from a tribe, with diologue hitherto unheard of by most readers. A footnote on pronunciation might have helped. It was a step too far inmy opinion. Overall i would love to visit canada and quite enjoyed the book as a travelogue.

  • Gripping read

It was a book I couldn't put down. Brilliantly written, had me smiling and laughing, then crying too. I would read it again and again

  • Tissues please

I have never cried so much over a book. My first read by this author. I loved all the characters especially Scott and I can imagine my grief being on a par with Frankie if I was to lose my husband. Can't wait to select my next book by Freya North.

    Thanks for your feedback!
