    A real eye opener

I've been active against climate change for a long time, but I never read such a complete outlook of what likely expects us in every aspect of personal and business life as well as society as a whole. Once you get past the first depression this book causes and you didn't kill yourself because everything looks so dark, you can actually find out that, though we caused all this, we also have the means to stop the worst outcomes through actually participating in the change our political systems need to properly address the issue.

    Life Changer

The most important book in my lifetime. The consequences of climate change laid bare.

    Interesting and alarming!

This is a fascinating book exploring the potential and likely impacts in relation to climate change. It explores topics beyond the obvious drought, heat waves, rising seas to people migration impacts.

    A well researched, terrifying read

This book does not pull its punches. I could not read it in long sessions as the fear it impresses is great. At the same time it points to a pathway for hope albeit a rapidly diminishing window to avoid virtual extinction within perhaps 100 years at best and possibly much sooner. It is a call to act written with the weight of science and fact.
