  • Loved this book!

Reviewed by Edilyn Trinidad for Readers' Favorite Ali Winters' The Vampire Debt is a fantastic story about a human named Clara and the vampire Alaric. Trapped in a miserable home with a gambler for a father and a sickly sister, Clara had to make ends meet for the family. Wanting to be rid of the ruling vampires, she killed the first one she came across. Determined to make her pay, Alaric claimed her to settle a debt with her father in her sister’s stead. The Vampire’s Debt is a mesmerizing concoction of fantastic characters, thrilling abilities, and breathtaking romance. Clara is a strong-willed woman, focused on her goal to gain freedom, while Alaric is a compelling and intriguing creature determined to hang on to some vestiges of his humanity. This page-turner will definitely capture readers’ imaginations! I loved Ali Winters' The Vampire Debt! This is such a gripping story, I read it in one sitting. Clara’s vampire-ruled world is mesmerizing and terrifying in equal measure. Clara is both endearing and vexing in her determination to outsmart her new master despite the danger she’s in. I also found Alaric a charming and fascinating character. It’s exciting to learn about his abilities as a creature of the night. I am sure the succeeding books will reveal more. I was also intrigued by the mention of other supernatural characters; it makes me yearn to know how they will affect the blossoming romance between Clara and Alaric. The Vampire Debt sets the bar high for the next installments. I can’t wait to get my hands on the second book.

  • WoW!

Addictive! Couldn’t put it down. Really love the characters and how the story is told. I love to see both side of the story and how they each perceive the events that unfolds.

  • Beautifully written

I took a chance on this book just because of the title wondering who could owe a vampire. I was pleasantly surprized . Clara stood up for herself and sister and won. Can't wait to start the next book in the series.

  • Decent

Certainly no Twilight series, and it’s target audience is certainly not middle-aged ladies like me. This book was worth reading but I don’t plan to read the rest of the series.

  • Beauty and the beast with a twist...

Beauty and the beast with a twist...a fanged and blood drinker twisted vampire. I enjoyed this twist on the classic BATB it was an easy ready that even though I thought it would be better I will read the follow-up second book when it's available to see if the story gets better. It was a nice escape for a few hours. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
