  • The Wicked Aftermath

5+ Stars … The Wicked Aftermath (The Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside #2) is a standalone small town, single mother romance told in the dual third-person point of view of Tank and Leah. ⁣ Wickeds always keep their promises. ⁣ An emotionally raw, devastatingly heartbreaking, and joyfully uplifting story about loss, healing, family, and so much love to warm your soul! Melissa Foster has completely outdone herself with this story. A MUST READ with tissues needed and in my opinion, her best work yet! ⁣ I'm only me because you're you. ⁣ Tank and Leah’s story took me on the largest emotional roller coaster, was one of the most emotional books I have read and left me with a book hangover like no other. One minute I am ugly crying and the next I am smiling from ear to ear with tears of joy. If you have ever lost someone suddenly this will pull at those heartstrings as well. ⁣ "Put your records on, baby. I've got your back." ⁣ The Wicked’s are an amazing family that lookout for those who mean the most to them and have so much love to give. Tank and Leah started a little rough but after everything, their connection to each other can not be avoided and runs so deep. There is nothing that Papa Tank will not do for his girls to keep them safe. Rosie and Junie absolutely stole my heart from the very beginning of the story. ⁣ *Triggers … Death*

  • Intoxicating.

One word describes the relationship between Tank and Leah. Intoxicating. Foster wraps the heart up in a courageous look at the human spirit. The Wicked Aftermath is hauntingly raw and powerfully inspiring. Loss and love go hand in hand. It's a hard road to forgiveness when the only one that blames you is yourself. From beginning to end Wicked Aftermath sticks to the heart with soulful accuracy that makes it hard to walk away until the last page is turned.

  • So good

5 Star Review of The Wicked Aftermath (The Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside #2) by Melissa Foster What a roller coaster of a ready The Wicked Aftermath was. This was one of the most emotional reads I have read in this series and brought out so many feelings whilst reading. I was riveted from the first page to the last. This is one of my favourite series with characters that are well developed and easy to relate too. This is Tank Wicked and Leah Yate’s story and oh what a story it was. As I have come to expect from a Melissa Foster story, this was extremely well written. Tank lives by his MC creed, he is a volunteer firefighter who does his best to protect those in need and vulnerable, however some times even your best is not enough. I fell hard and fast for these characters, Tank is so swoon worthy that he just about melted my heart. The pain and emotion that Tank and Leah go through is heart breaking. Can they come to terms with the past and in doing so forge a future together? This book is emotional, gripping, a story of family, love, romance, of overcoming ones fears, of digging deep and never giving up. Ms. Foster had me in tears at times, she ripped me apart and then put me back together.

  • Rollercoaster of Emotions

Ok I really enjoyed this book about Tank and Leah. The Wicked Knight men are all alpha and I love Tank. The way he cares for Leah is the way every women wants to be cared for. Tragedy invades both of their lives and the rollercoaster of emotions this book evokes is everything I want in a book. I found myself laughing, crying, and those little girls were scene stealers in the best way. This may very well be my favorite book by Melissa ever

  • Emotional

Warning!! Before reading this book, grab a box of tissues, turn off your phone, grab some comfort food and buckle in for a bumpy ride. This story will rip your heart apart, have you sobbing like a child, make you laugh out loud, smile till your cheeks hurt, then put your heart back together. Tank is the guy we all hope to meet and he loves Leah with everything he has. He's also the man that made her whole world come crashing down around her. But he's determined to heal her pain. Their journey is beautiful and will take you through every emotion possible. This is up there with the top 5 most emotional reads, I ugly Cried the whole way through.
