  • The Wisdom of Crowds

Another excellent book by Joe Abercrombie. He never fails to get the reader hooked in his books. I have read them all, some twice as they are so entertaining. Hopefully not too long to wait untilbhis next offering. Should be turned into film

  • The Wisdom of Crowds

The Wisdom of crowds. Excellent read as usual, bloodthirsty, to be expected, but never fails to have a twist to his stories and not the ending you would expect, keeps you wanting more.

  • The disdain of cliches

I am a huge fan and have read everything from Joe. After reams of anodyne fantasy in the 80s and 90s George Martin revolutionized the genre and Joe took up from him. Great action actually has a slightback placein this one asthe characters and their dilemmas arevery much in focus. He's just a terrific writer, very intelligently avoiding any whiff of cliche. 4 stars because I personally like more sabres rattling; those come in parts 1&2 of this trilogy.

    Thanks for your feedback!
