    Worth a read

Once I became accustomed to the language of 1889, and the fact that the author went off subject endlessly, I really enjoyed the book. It was worth a read just to get an insight into life at that time and I enjoyed the authors sometimes sarcastic sense of humour. Would sometimes get a bit bogged down when the author suddenly became very 'poetic' in his style of writing, but all in all am glad that I met J., Harris, George and Montmorency. I would recommend this book if you feel like reading something a bit different.
