  • Throne of Eldraine mtg story

The mtg stories have become well written and fun since the Ixalan stories, and this novel continues in the same vein. It’s a lush world in the novel, and it tells the story of Will and Rowan (originally from Battlebond) and of Garruk along with some new characters. It was a charming and well written story, would recommend to fans of the mtg stories

  • Thrilling tale, gripping characters

Kate Elliot's work on Magic has been stellar before, with Chronicles of Bolas. Her attention to detail, visceral descriptions of settings, and vivid characters never fail to impress. Rowan and Will feel like real siblings the whole way through, and the epic quest has a very real tone of the importance of family. Garruk's arc comes to a much needed close in a quiet, powerful way. An absolute treasure all the way through.

  • Immersive and connecting.

Characters well developed, scenes beautifully described. An excellent book for starting out in the MTG world.

  • Great fun to read

As a long time magic lore fan, it's refreshing to read about new magic characters but at the same time bein surprised to find a familiar one.
