  • To Love and be Wise

Excellent as always Josephine Tey keeps the reader guessing until almost the end. This book was written in1950 but has a very modern/contemporary theme.

  • Fabulous

The character drawing in this is very fine, and the mystery is a twisty marvel. There is an element of concealment if evidence on the part of the writer, which is notoriously a cheat, but it’s very late in the book and I forgive her. My favourite Josephine Tey so far
