  • Finally broke my suspension of disbelief

Everybody comments on how the two very young daughters don't read like young people and are precocious pretty much beyond belief - natural prodigies at all fighting and mechanical skills. That kept stretching my willing suspension of disbelief...but it snapped when I looked up that there were SIX nations with nuclear subs, not just two. And it hit me that the family from the first book that never got exposed because their yacht was already out there, means that literally thousands of cargo carriers that were weeks from last port when the news firmed up would be in the same position, as well as a lot of the surface navy, and non-nuclear subs: where the hell is everybody? I realized that both circumstances were huge contrivances to create a family so heroic that they literally saved the world, that not one other family or group in 7 billion people had gotten vaccine and survived. If the main barrier to vaccine was the coldness to use the live 'zombies' to make it, why didn't China make any? Why not the US DoD, for that matter; scruples that get the whole world killed don't make sense. So I just lost the ability to see this as anything but a fantasy...for all the author's hard work inventing an SF science-explained Zombie Apocalypse. It's a real pity; a scenario where a few thousand survivors pulled together in each of a *dozen* places around the world and had to overcome differences to save the rest, would have been one sprawling, scenic, complicated series....

  • To Sail A Darlong Sea

This series is turning into a major page turner. I can see the AI turning into a major player in the series as time goes by in this universe.

  • Darkling Sea

There are three books that define hope. In this book you find two sisters who light a candle of hope for the world. Sophia and Faith are willing to light that candle rather than curse the darkness.

  • To sail a darkling sea

Another action packed and fast paced read, which should be expected and enjoyed from this author. Hard to put down I highly recommend this book.
