    Too Much Lip

Highly recommended read, a story that pulls no punches and is beautifully crafted. Lucashenko is a phenomenal author.

Too much Lip by Melissa Lucashenko

A brilliant depiction of an Aboriginal family in Australia which gave me more understanding of their difficult journey through generations of disadvantaged and disempowered people! Very readable and well written.

    Too Much Lip

A funny, complex and very real depiction of contemporary FNP life, written with warmth and a bracing lack of sentimentality.

    Good!

Really enjoyed this book. Loved reading a story about a family torn apart by secrets and loss but still rich with culture and history. It was funny, heart wrenching and clever!

    A Revelation

Indigenous writers have so much to reveal and teach us about an ancient culture. The brutal reality of colonisation. The untold stories of genocide. Melissa not only describes the generational and current trauma that exists today, but the mystical beauty of people who love their land like family. Melissa brings the voice of land and nature alive. How much we need to learn from the guardians of the land. They are the heart and soul of our country. Brilliant writing. Thankyou Melissa
