  • Loved it! Rapunzal revisited!

Rapunzel is attending the Grimm Academy - and like most students there, she has a prophecy which could destroy her life. Her mother leaves her with many dire warnings - including not to make friends or fall in love, so that the prophecy cannot come to pass. But does she really have Rapunzel's best interests at heart? Gavin is also trying to escape his prophecy - but they cant helkp falling in love, even though it could be a trigger for both of them. Who is it that will try to break both of their hearts? • Great Series Starter

The story line was great, the character work was fantastic, and the book had a smooth flow to it. This was a great way to start the series. I'm ready for the next one to see what happens. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

  • Can they bet their prophecies?

What a refreshing look at a classic fairytale I loved it. Rapunzel and Gavin were fantastic characters and the story was entertaining a truly engaging read. Can they bet their prophecies? Why do parents have to be so overly controlling? The tale gives you some insight into Rapunzel’s life and how sweet young love can be. It is a cute piece. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

  • Great start to a new series

This is a retelling of the Rapunzel fairy tale. It is clean, but still adult or older teen. The characters are well developed and the story world is believable. It is a short, fast read and is the first in a planned series of Academy fairy tale retellings. If you like fairy tale retellings, you'll enjoy this book!
