    Marriage and sanity-saving practices

I would recommend this book to anyone who decides to get married or commit to a long-term relationship. Dr. Forward explores the difficulties of relating to a significant-other's family, and offers guidelines and techniques for solving major in-law problems. Much of her advice is preventative and is very useful for resolving smaller conflicts before they blow up into messy and devastating firestorms. Even when in-laws are not outright evil, this book offers a sound and caring way to keep family relationships in balance...or else your best chance to fix them when things go awry.
