I’m enjoying the Twirled World Series but I wish the author would get a good editor.

  • Here comes trouble!

Trouble is the second book in J. M. Dabney's 'Twirled World Ink' series and focuses on the relationship of Jimmy 'Trouble' Carver a model perfect, tattooed and sexy bad boy who has no issues getting anyone and Brody Vaughn a single parent who feels like he is average working at the grocery store. We see the build up of the relationship between these two characters and the author pays particular interest on how people see themselves and their bodies which was interesting. We also see how hard people are willing to fight to be happy. Trouble's relationship with his parents is dealt with in a sensitive manner and you come of feeling genuine empathy for how Trouble must have grown up and how this reflects on his daily life. This book is told from both characters POV, and we also see the rest of the boys from Twirled Ink as well as meet Brody's brother (who will pop up in a book later on in the series). These books are filled with love and passion but also friendship which focus on real problems that crop up in many relationships whether hetro or homosexual. It will definitely be a series I will continue to read.
