  • Second book in series delivers

Knupp uses the classic trope of "girl falls in love with older brother's best friend" for this story. She gave Drake and Mackenzie some challenging personal issues to overcome--especially Drake. It's been a while since I read the first book in this series, and I had forgotten some of the characters and personalities. It's been longer still since I read the Hale Street stories. Since many of those original characters make an appearance in the North Brothers' books, I highly recommend reading the Hale Street books if you haven't already done so; it makes for a richer reading experience for this series. I purchased the Kindle version of this book, even though I also received an advance copy. This is my honest review.

    Thanks for your feedback!
