  • Another winner from Susan Gabriel

I really loved this book! I have read all of Susan Gabriel's works and she just keeps getting better and better! She doesn't just tell a story, she paints a picture and draws you in with her characters. I won't give anything away, but if you miss this one, you have missed a true winner!

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • Another great book by Susan Gabriel

WOW what a book. Even though it is written about what was going on in the southern states in the late 1950's, unfortunately it still exists. I have read several books by this fantastic writer, and thought each one was the best, until I read the next one. I haven't finished "Trueluck Summer" yet. I just don't want to rush the end, because then it will be over, but on the other hand, I can't wait to find out what happens. It is truly a book worth reading and then look forward for her next book. Great job Susan Gabriel....this historical fiction really shows what it was like in that time period.....and how much has not changed. Thank You!

  • Hard to put down.

This book is one of those stories that you can’t wait to see what going to happen next. The blend of 3. 12 year olds and a 70 year old grandmother joining together to forge new ways in the Deep South. What a wonderful read. I highly recommend it!

  • Great

Brought back so many thoughts and memories of that era. I grew up in South Carolina and think your book should be required reading for people to understand the real feelings and details of that time Thanks for a great read
