A fresh look at some favourite characters

I have read just about all of Connelly's earlier books. They are well written and the characters are well drawn and this one is just the same. There are old characters and new, the plots (there are three of them) are well planned and intertwined but the book doesn't read as if it came from a cookie cutter as can happen with other authors' continuing series about a central character. If you like Connelly you'l love this book; if you haven't read any of his works this is a good time to start.

    Pure Bosch

Good old Harry Bosch, another good story about crime and punishment, with au few twists and turns and justice served once again.

    Typical Bosch

It’s another in the long saga of one of fiction’s most endearing characters - Hieronymus Bosch. It’s a pretty good plot, with not too much that’s incredible. And we find Bosch with a soul as he scrounges his way through several cases. He doesn’t disappoint.

I am 83 and have enjoyed the Harry Bosch ride for many years. Hope we both keep on top. Well done.
