  • The Department Q team and another thriller

A great book in true Department Q tradition. Jussi Adler-Olsen really knows how to develop a climax to a book where you literally cannot put it down. There are two investigations happening simultaneously and the old team was almost split in two. Rose is back in the fold after her problems from the last book and Long tall Gordon is stil part of the team. The main plot centres on Assad’s past and taken Carl and Assad to Germany whereas another plot centres on a psychopath in Denmark who keeps phoning Gordon. It was interesting that the book seemed to slow down in the middle which was probably intentional as there was nothing that Assad could do but wait. And then, when things started to happen, they happened quickly. A thoroughly enjoying book. I cannot wait for Bok No 9 in the series.

    Thanks for your feedback!
