  • Well worth waiting for Deborah

I have waited over seven years for Mills and Boon to make Waiting for Deborah available as an e-book. An online review referred to this book as one that was particularly difficult to get. Like many of Ms Neels' later books, it is set in Britain, unlike her earlier books which are almost all set in the Netherlands. While the plot has elements of a number of her other books - the orphaned heroine, the lost cat, the older doctor hero, the kind-hearted old nanny, the selfish people who leave the heroine homeless - this book was worth the wait. While there are still references to things like cheque books, Deborah does try to take a wordprocessing course, which brings this book to a relatively more up to date time. Despite the familiar tropes, this book was worth the wait.

    Thanks for your feedback!
