    Just Do It!

This Mom decides after losing her Dad too young, that memories with her daughter are more important than renovating her kitchen. Because her husband is too busy with his business, the two travel on their own and continue to make memories as her daughter grows up, visiting a variety of European countries. The reader learns of the writer's history with her Dad and her Mom, who were divorced and lived "a hippy lifestyle" and then flashed to the present day and her travels with her daughter. She had no regrets in spending money on travel instead of updating the house because as her daughter was leaving for college, "we'll always have Paris." It was an enjoyable read!

    Unexpected delight!

I was pleasantly surprised to find this both a touching and humorous read. It brought back a lot of nostalgia about my first trip backpacking around Europe with friends and kind of made me long to plan a trip with my own nine year old daughter.
