    More interesting than I thought

In this second in the series, Janie (Jennie) has returned to her real home & family, the Springs, from whom she was kidnapped. She struggles to accept them while they, especially her mother & father, welcome her with open hearts although restrained in interaction with her. Janie keeps herself distant both emotionally and physically causing great pain to her parents & siblings. Jodie, her sister, aches for a sister who barely acknowledges her existence while her brother Stephen seethes inside with conflicting anger. She has twin brothers who are still quite young and she is puzzled by them although also amused by them at the same time. Janie yearns for the home where she was brought up since the age of three and her 'real' mother and father and her high school sweetheart, Reeve. Hannah, the Johnson's daughter who kidnapped Janie, claimed her as her own and left her with the Johnsons, is someone they can all agree to be sorely angry with to the extent that Stephen and Jodie go to New York looking for her, where she was briefly arrested two years ago. Everyone is soon to be ripped apart... again.
