  • When Love Strikes

It was o.k. There is a big improvement from the earlier books in this series and the Sherbrooke series in terms of grammar and spelling. There is still a few, so Tree House Editing needs to do better. The suspense part of the book was weird, it just wasn’t well connected to the story. The first time it is introduced, it appears fully formed out of the blue, and it never really connects to the main character, no suspense is created, so the whole thing seems to me to fall flat on its face. The climatic scene is just weird, who goes to do the evil thing and then let’s the intended victim just wander away? Anyway, I keep reading the books because I like the characters. I like the continuity although this one was a bit confusing in terms of where it fit, and I like the fact that the two series intermingle. I have one request if the author reads these, please stop making these characters’ stomachs grumble all the time! Each and every one! I have people around me, and I never hear their stomachs grumble, ever! Besides, it is really not romantic, and in my opinion it spoils the mood.

    Thanks for your feedback!
