    A very good read indeed

Starts slow but stick with it. The characters drew me in and the ending has tones of To Kill a Mockingbird about it. I loved being transported to the marsh girls world

Best book I've read in a long time...

Wonderful main character. Story starts sad and whimsical and turns dark. Gripping story line and the author has well researched the period and location. Loved it!

    Ethereal

I haven't loved a book so much since To Kill A Mockingbird. Superbly written, with characters you find yourself championing for and a setting so vivid you can taste it. Exquisitly told with a satisfying prose leaving you wanting to feed the nearest seagull. I can't wait for anything else Delia Owens gifts us. Genuinely five full stars xxxxx

    Didn’t want it to end

Best book I’ve read in a while. You know it’s good when you need time to grieve when you’ve finished and this is one of those books
