    Take notes

I am trying to do my best in advocacy work around race and class in education, and this book title couldn't have rung louder at me than me putting my head in a church bell being rung on a Sunday morning. I wish it didn't take me so long to read (my fault, I'm not saying it's long) , but I appreciate the non North American perspective as much of what she spoke about speaks to the imperilaistic racism the UK implanted in my parents home country and my favourite location I once lived in, Malaysia. Read this as an e book and make a notes file called, "Quoteable Quotes", because there are a lot to take down. Thank you for writing this!

    A must read

I read this slower then most books and took time to raise points in it with friends. I took away lots of things I hadnt considered before, I learnt and I was humbled. Read this book. I greatly enjoyed the authors style and honesty.

    PURE BRILLIANCE

I have never read a book so quickly before, I didnt want to put it down. Its super articulate and easy to understand. Renni uses a non patronising tone so I think white readers would go away feeling hopeful and empowered rather than guilty. It went into great depth about Britian's racist history which I had no idea about. Overall just an outstanding piece of work and I wish her nothing but the best.
