    Wolf of the Plains

A wonderful jump off to a series I am sure will not disappoint . I feel as if I am there on the plains, living with the khan. Only 1.5 hours to go .,,,then straighr into Book 2 Jeannette

Game of thrones minus dragons and white walkers. How do you become a man that wants to conquer the world? A foundation in blood, horror, vengeance and a code of honour. Survival and ambition forge the wolf of the plains.

This book is an excellent read, i have read most of this authors work and im always impressed. He has a way of drawing you in to the story. He mixes history with fiction and the outcome is fantastic.

    Overall, a pretty enjoyable read

I really did enjoy this book and had a hard time putting it down. The only flaw I could find is that it feels incredibly rushed in the last 6 chapters or so. Hopefully the sequels don't suffer from the same fate.

    Brilliant!

I always enjoy Conn Iggulden books but the first in this series I found particularly informative, dramatic and emotional! I look forward with eagerness to read the rest of the Conqueror.
