  • D/s isn't my favorite

I liked this one better than the last despite the fact that the way that Dane writes D/s kink here doesn’t really work for me (or maybe it’s quarantine blahs, I dunno). D/s is very take-it-or-leave-it for me most of the time, so do with that as you will. Yes, the first half is heavy on the relationship and a lot of (juvenile) angst, but once Ben & Tegan get their act together, the overall story arc is pretty good. I know you’re probably thinking, why are you rereading these if they’re just 3 stars? A. 3 stars isn’t bad. It’s just not “ermuhgod these are the best evah!”. B. Our library just got the De La Vega Cats series in Audio, I started listening to Trinity and remembered that Jack from that book is heavily featured as a secondary character *throughout* this whole series. So yeah, I’m going to read them again for that.

    Thanks for your feedback!
