  • Entertaining

I was hooked. Story is told from the point of view of multiple characters describing their experiences.

  • I guess it was meant to be a historical account, but it would have been nice to have more of a tie in amongst the characters. By the end I was a bit drained and kind of like what's the point? I don't think it was a bad book by any means and I love the format. But by the end it all got a little repetitive. I'm looking forward to seeing the film. Will done Max.

  • Epic in scale

With all we claim to 'know' about zombies, its a nice change to be told of how humanity survived. The scope is huge in this telling and unfortunately there isn't any chance to form any relationship with the characters. The whole thing really plays out like a collection of short stories connected by a global cataclysm. Well worth a read.

  • Fun read

Essentially, a series of short stories chronicling the global struggle again zombies. Great little book; although, the author never explains the nature of this plague. Anyway, fun read with some gripping accounts.
