Writing the Wolf started out well enough and it has some witty, and often humorous, dialogue, but it became a bit drawn out and the story jumped around at times. Rosa's feelings about white men, while understandable considering what's happened to her, became tedious after awhile. It reached a point that she started to come across as just as prejudiced as the people she was running from. I also expected a bit more angst on her part when she learned that he was a wolf shifter, but again, it was more about her having issue with the color of his skin. Maybe I missed something, but I just can't imagine a scenario where a man shifts into a wolf in front of me and the main concern is his skin color. Overall, the story was interesting, if a bit scattered at times, and I would read other works by this author.

    Thanks for your feedback!
