  • Great story with fabulous characters.

I’ve been looking forward to reading You Had me At Hockey by Kelly Jamieson after having devoured the first book, Must Love Dogs… And Hockey. We heard a little bit about Josh during Easton’s story, enough to more than pique my interest. Josh and Easton had once been classmates and friends, but an accident when they were teenagers split them apart. They have avoided each other ever since. Now, Easton is joining Josh’s hockey team. Can they ever become friends again? Maybe with Sara’s help Josh can learn to let go of his rigid way of life. Sara is spontaneous where Josh plans everything down to the last second. He needs to know exactly what’s going on around him. Even though they were complete opposites, Josh and Sara messed at an elemental level. Their chemistry was scorching hot and the banter made me smile a lot. Josh is a tough cookie but sexy with it. Sara has a very interesting job as a vlogger, one she enjoys tremendously. She’s not afraid of life and what it will bring, despite having a past of her own. These two were definitely made for each other and their story is one for the holidays. One-Click your copy today.

  • A great addition to the Bears Hockey series!

You Had Me at Hockey is another great addition to Kelly Jamieson's Bears Hockey series! Josh Heller has been traded from Dallas to the New York Bears and he's not one that likes change or not knowing what is coming down the pike. He's a planner and so having to learn a new team, a new coach and a new city isn't his favorite thing ever, but he's a warrior and he's going to do it. Much of his reluctance with change comes from a near-death experience as a child, which has shaped not only him as a person, but his hockey life as well. Sara Carringon is a quirky, funny, smart woman who has a podcast and does YouTube videos for a living. While she's always battled depression, using her videos to focus her has been a game changer. She's been lucky enough to get Josh on one of her upcoming podcast episodes and while she knows nothing about hockey, she's open to the idea of having him on. When Josh and Sara meet, the connection is almost immediate. Neither of them is looking for any kind of relationship, but it seems that the universe has a different idea. They are drawn to one another and as they start to spend time together, that just intensifies. Both of them are dealing with baggage so to speak, but it seems that they are able to help one another as they deal with it. Will this relationship end up becoming more permanent than either of them ever expects? Josh and Sara were great characters. I liked that they were flawed and I liked that they admitted that. No one is perfect and I always find it great when as a reader I can identify with things they are going through. I loved how they learned from one another and were friends as much as lovers. This was another great installment in this series!

  • Great Read!

This book was a very memorable read for me. The couple remind me so much of myself and my husband in the way that they are both so different but yet they fit perfectly together. It was like they grounded each other. I fell in love with their story. They started out as friends and became so much more. This book was a fun and heartfelt read. I cannot wait to see where this series goes next. Thanks Net Galley. I voluntarily reviewed this book in exchange for an honest review.

  • Loved the Character Growth

4 Where to start. I enjoyed this book, falling in love with the characters and watching their hearts grow fond of each other. Josh has a lot of baggage and though Sarah is perfect for him, she’s not his usual type. Sarah is still learning her way, and though she has some things to work through herself, she embraces who she is and shows the world it’s okay to be yourself. Together they grow and blossom with hurdles and I loved watching that through each character’s eyes. I would recommend this HEA. Social Influencer, Hockey, Opposites Attract

  • Loved how the story evolved

This is the second installment to Kelly Jamieson's Bears Hockey series and showcases one of the things that makes her a fantastic author- great characters. I loved Sara. She's a social media influencer and she gets the opportunity to interview Josh, a hockey player who was just traded to the Bears. She's the total opposite to him- totally open to new experiences, a bit wacky and fun and oh so sweet. She defines spontaneity. Josh is, well, not. He's all about rigidity and being prepared for everything- with good reason due to his past. Together, they make an odd couple. But they treat each other so well and I loved to see Josh opening up to new experiences. I loved how they supported each other. I smiled through most of the book although there were a few poignant moments when I was crying. Initially, I have to say that I didn't see the "spark" between the two but that quickly evolved because of how well they treated each other. And then I wish Josh opened up more but the end was more than worth the journey. Definitely a 4.5 stars book for me. Thanks to NetGalley and Loveswept for the early read.
