So Loved Steamy Romance Between Blake & Clara

Love all the swoon worthy Bennett men and Your Fierce Love, the seventh book in The Bennett Family series did not disappoint. Once again Layla Hagen has delivered a sizzling romance between bad boy Blake Bennett and Clara Abernathy. Your Fierce Love is Blake's story, who has been smitten with Nate Becker's former assistant and Bennett family friend, Clara Abernathy. Clara is in need of temporary housing, because her new apartment is not completed yet. Blake lets Clara live in the apartment next to his above the bar that he owns. Clara must be careful with her feelings. She loves the Bennett family and after having grown up in groups homes, does not want to jeopardize losing the love and support that they supply. Living next door to Blake proves to be challenging for Clara and before long they begin a romantic relationship. Problems arise for her at work when her boss asks her to provide dirt on the Bennett family, unbeknownst to him that Clara is living beside Blake, rent free. I love the way Layla Hagen tells a story in such a way that we fall in love with the story, the characters and root for happily ever afters. I love the entire Bennett family and love getting caught up in all their lives with each new story. Layla Hagen again has proven that she is a skilled storyteller. I love the bittersweet and poignant moments in the story, as well as the light and humorous ones. As usual Layla Hagen included a plot twist that puts Clara and Blake's happily ever after in jeopardy. I love how she resolves all the issues, showing that in the end love is all that matters. I so enjoy that Layla Hagen writes about strong women and swoon worthy men that do wonderful things for the women they love. Your Fierce Love was an amazing story that I could not put down. I loved every moment!

    Quick summer read

I'm not sure if I'm getting jaded by alpha males and all the sex they have or if I'm just reading too many that they all sort of blend together. I'm unsure. I've read all the books in this series and I'm getting sort of bored with the sex scenes. Don't get me wrong, they're good. I just find that there are way too many; like one in every chapter. I get that the relationships are new and as in most new relationships you want to bone all the time. Been there; done that. But I really want to get deeper into their connection. Some have felt rushed and sometimes forced. Ya know? Anyhow. Despite my objection to all the sex, I did love Clara and Blake. I understood Clara's personality all too well. And Blake was a great match for her. I'm glad that things worked out for them both. But I'm really excited to see about Daniel and Caroline. I really love second-chance romances. Hopefully the sex scenes will still be hot, but hopefully limited or more fade-to-black for some? Just an idea. *an arc was provided in exchange for an honest review*

    5 Blakealicious Stars

Favorite Quotes: Sweet baby Jesus on a unicorn. What am I supposed to do with this? I feel like I should be mad at you for being sneaky… I can’t… I happen to abide by the rule that sneakiness is allowed for a good cause. You have that post-hanky-panky glow that only comes from excellent hanky-panky. Glow? I’m so far past glowing, I’m practically a neon sign. There is no right moment. Just right now. My Review: I enjoyed this delightful and charming friends to lovers story from start to finish. I have unfailingly cherished each and every one of Layla Hagen’s beguiling stories as well as her adorable and endearing characters. Her writing guarantee a pleasant and entertaining read and Your Fierce Love upped the ante by also providing a winsome, well matched, clever, and fun-loving couple with minimal conflict or angst. I loved their clever and feisty bantering and quick-witted teasing. This series just continues to get better and better with each sweet and atomically steamy installment.

    I love the Bennett family

I voluntarily reviewed a complementary copy from the author with no obligation. This story is about the seventh Bennett to find their other half. This time, it was Blake Bennett's turn. Blake used to be one of the party twins until he settled down and became a successful business owner in his own right. Clara was Nate's assistant before he moved overseas for his job. Clara became an adopted Bennett, so when she hit a spot of bother in her living arrangements, Blake came to her rescue. I just love this family so much. I love how close they all are, how supportive and caring they are. With every book released, I realize we are running out of Bennetts, so I dread the day the last sibling has found their match. Can't wait to see which one is to be next, though.

They fall, it's quickly, completely and forever.

The Bennetts have mastered the art of romance. When they fall, it's quickly, completely and forever. Ms. Hagen keeps the love flowing and hearts glowing, this time with Blake's headlong plunge into the abyss. His chance at cloud nine is Clara. Clara is a dreamer. Life has not been kind and her dreams always seem to fall through. The realist in her knows to keep it's distance, yet the little girl in her longs for happiness. Clara and Blake take sensuality to the sky and beyond as they tumble headfirst into love. Ms. Hagen runs away with the heart. She takes a little more with each Bennett, she reveals. A master thief is she, but I never seem to mind.
