  • WOW!

This story has a little more bite to it! This adventure starts off with Zack somewhat at loose ends and needing a true purpose to guide him out of his current one man pity-party mind set and find his way forward. Turkey’s President &VP are under house arrest and the President’s daughter, Zadie, has disappeared. It’s Zack’s mission, along with his teammate. Bonaparte, to find Zadie and also to find out what is going on with her family. I enjoy Bonaparte’s outlook on life, his crazy driving abilities as well as his healthy appetite. I also appreciate Zack’s determination to free Zadie and get her the needed medical attention without them all getting caught by unfriendlies. Zadie’s love and compassion for the welfare of her mother is heartfelt, so is her belief that she can help her mother escape the abuse she has suffered at the hands of her husband. Not all is as it seems. Just when Zadie has been treated by a friendly doctor outside of Turkey borders, Zadie wants to go back to where she was found, the family homestead, and rescue her mother. This story is full of action and adventure. It gets intense right from the beginning and doesn’t let go until the heartfelt ending. It also gives you a few good hair-raising moments to get your blood pressure up! A fast-paced read and one you won’t put down until finished.

  • Sins of the Father...

What happens when the world-traveling photographer known for her less-than-complimentary-to-the-Turkish-government photos, who is also the daughter of a Turkish diplomat with an unsavory personal and political history, disappears? Zack and Bonaparte, new members of the Legendary Securities team, are assigned to find Zadie and determine whether she is hiding of her own volition or somehow being detained after her mother and father were put under house-arrest in a property not very far from Zadie’s childhood home. And what happens when this clever young woman is rescued and, even after sustaining a serious injury during the rescue, insists on going back to rescue her mother from the father’s physical and emotional abuse? If you were Zack and Bonaparte, what would you do? Non-stop, can‘t-put-the-book-down action. Book 23 of the Heroes for Hire series. Strong male and female characters, honest heroes with integrity and who care enough to put their lives on the line. • Loved it

And the Heroes for Hire march on, this is the 23rd book in this brilliant series by Dale Mayer and I have loved them all. Zack Higgins had been on a mission that didn't go as well as he would have liked but Levi and Ice still had faith in him and wanted him for their team. He was to be partnered for a mission with Bonaparte and ex colleague from his time as a navy SEAL. Bonaparte had just come through a messy divorce and was looking forward to moving on and becoming a part of the Heroes for Hire team. Zadie Nather was a political activist, fighting injustice but she was the daughter of the corrupt deposed president of Turkey, who, along with his wife was under house arrest. Zadie was determined to rescue her mother but she wasn't sure how involved she was with her husbands corruption After a visit to see her parents Zadie disappeared, it was thought that maybe she had also been captured and incarcerated. Zack and Bonaparte's mission was to travel to Turkey, locate and rescue Zadie but things never go to plan and Zadie wanted her mother rescued as well. Zadie was very sick, could they afford to attempt another even more dangerous rescue ? Was Zadie's mother involved with her husbands corruption ? Had her parents already been moved ? This story covers the dangerous journey of Zadie's rescue, there is suspense, murder, fast action and of course the blossoming love between Zadie and Zack. A great book and I now can't wait to read Bonaparte's story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

  • Zack's Zest - Rescuing Zadia

Zack, newly hired by Legendary Security (Heroes for Hire), has finally got his life on track and focused. He, along with another former military comrade, are bound for Turkey, to rescue a kidnapped woman. Zadie, the daughter of a former government official, has been kidnapped. A spine of steel tempered with hope, she is a force to be dealt with. Strong characters and a glimpse of a few beloved characters, unexpected turns and giggles. A romance. Another page turner from Dale Mayer. Bravo! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

  • Another case for Legendary Security

This is another story in the Heroes for Hire series. Levi and Ice the owners of the international Legendary Security company are always looking to hire new members to their team which is where Zach Higgins comes in. They ask Zach to go to Turkey to find Zadie Nather. Her mother and father are under house arrest by the Turkish government. When Zadie goes missing, her mother hires Legendary Security to find her. After rescuing Zadie, they escape Turkey but Zadie receives a frantic call from her mother and convinces Zach and his teammate Bonaparte to go back and rescue her mother. The storyline was a little slower to develop than other novel in the series, but it still has a strong ending. This is the 24th book in a series I really love. Although this book does not reach the excitement I have come to expect from the series, I would still strongly recommend this author’s series if you are looking for a good read.
