    A brilliant read.

An excellent book. It really made me focus on what the state of women is.

    Gripping Alternate Future

I would recommend this book and don’t regret purchasing it. Despite buying it in the sale I would happily have payed full price for it. Christina Dalcher created an intriguing setting that I found to be thought provoking. The premise of the book is what intrigued me and I was not disappointed. If you like the topics of near futures, social injustice and scientists then I think you will enjoy this book.

    Great interesting concept

Lacking in emotional depth even though the concept had potential. needed character building.

    1984 and then some...

Like 1984 with a really nasty twist. A brilliant novel and a scarily dystopian plot. Just don't blindly trust that something like this might never happen: remember that, "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” Well worth reading.

    Great new dystopian world

Fantastic but scary. Well paced, nothing superfluous. You can see how something like this may happen for real. Loved the not so veiled reference to current American political situation. Well worth the read especially if you enjoyed “the handmaid’s take”.
