    A sweet Valentine read...

This is a February Wedding Story part of A Year of Wedding series. This is the first I have read in a wonderful series about couples in the wedding spotlight. This is the second year of the Year of Weddings novella collection. Serving Up a Sweetheart is a sweet Valentine's read. It is a lovely Inspirational faith-based Christian romance. I loved the humour, the sweetness, and the on-going theme of restoration spiritually, relation-ally, and literally. This is a novella about redemption, trust and forgiveness. Meadow Larson's catering business is in jeopardy when a snow storm causes the roof over her kitchen to cave in. Her new neighbour across the street is outside when he notices her kick a snowman and then notices tears. He goes over to see if he can help but the woman just stares at him, and not in a good way. It is like he is Satan. Then he realizes who see is. Meadow Larson, the woman he and his friends terrorized in high school. Colin McGrath regrets the person he was in high school who willingly put his social status above caring for someone. Colin is a contractor who has returned home to take over his father’s construction firm when his father falls ill. He’s just the man to fix her roof if she will let him. It’s the worse time for this to happen – Meadow’s biggest weeks of her catering career. They compromise... Colin is aware that God has given him a second chance to correct his past with Meadow. After years of regret and guilt over he and his friends bullying of Meadow, Colin is determined to earn her respect and forgiveness. Will Meadow learn to trust this new Colin? Will she ever trust him enough to give him her heart?
