  • Old school journalism at its best

I like old school journalism. Someone out there pounding doors, talking to people, getting facts straight, putting their life in danger and reporting on important issues. The book is non fiction, but you almost hope that it was fiction because you don't want to believe that some women had to go through this in their life. HW was a predator and it took decades to uncover this, and their are thousands out there. This reporting might have created a revolution the benefits of which women will reap for years to come. I hope more men read this book than women. Contrary to what everyone said I didn't mind ronan's accents, it added a dimension to every character in the story. Good work Ronan and times !

  • Great book, acceptable narration.

Powerful book. So many women's careers and lives damaged. Was a bit put off by Farrow's narration when he attempts accents, since that affected the credibility of the people he tried to imitate...for me, at least.

  • Heartbreaking and hopeful

This book is absolutely both stunning and important. At times, it made me angry and heartbroken, but never defeated. Farrow's commitment to reporting, to doing the right thing, creates a sense of hope in a setting that might otherwise be hopeless. An excellent story covering the struggles of power dynamics, oppression, and trauma -- and the fight to overcome them.

  • Accented English was very poor

I thought this book was interesting and enjoyed the narration. Rowan Farrell’s imitation of his sources accents was jarring to say the least and affected his sources credibility. It was quite annoying and it took away from the audiobooks enjoyment. The story producers should have said definitely no!
