  • Regency Christmas story at haunted Castle Keyvnor

This fun novella is set at Christmas time at the haunted Castle Keyvnor. It is a Regency story in the Brides of North Barrows series, but it also links up with Claire Delacroix's stories about the dukes of Inverfyre from the medieval era. I like that one of the main legends from the previous time period has been carried through to this story as a way for Alexander to determine if he has found true love. At first Daphne is only interested in marrying a duke to provide financial security for herself and her sister, but she becomes intrigued with the Duke of Inverfyre's suspicious behavior. She's sure he's much more honorable and intelligent than the foppish facade he puts on. In a castle filled with ghosts, legends, and unexplained occurrences, Daphne and Alexander are bound to have an interesting time bringing his sister's tormentor to light.
