    Simply wnderful!

As a 43 year old man, raised in Winipeg, with family roots in PEI, or "PIE", I simly loved this book. I read in bed, and I laughed so hard and shook the matttress so many times that I was afraid I woke up my wife. A joy to read from beginning to end. As a matter of fact, the fact it had to end was the only bad part of this book.

A must read for anyone, but certainly Newfoundlanders!

Great book of stories on the road and the work and drive it takes to get what you want. Can't think of anyone in the world I'd rather sit down and have a beer with. Great read Mr. Doyle.

    Great Read

We visited Newfoundland for a month in 2001. Brought back memories. Made one realize the amount of work to become a first class band

    A Newfoundlander in Canada

A very unique perspect of Canada as described by a touring musican. The observations are insiteful and written in a humorous and entertaining way. Every Canadian should read this book - they will be motivated to travel Canada to experience its diversity!

    Awesome.

My only issue was that it was over far too soon. As a fresh transplant
