    Worth every word, heroes all

Great read, you get to know these men a little, even though they're not writing their own memoirs, like every other seal that gets out. I liked the book. An observation I had was the way the author says seals are not these muscle bound larger than life people that Hollywood portrays, yet almost all the ones he described are over 6 ft tall and 230+ lbs of muscle. These guys are exactly how Hollywood envisions them (one was even nicknamed Hollywood, go figure). So these heroes are larger than life (one was described as being "life"). But I appreciate their sacrifice and commitmet, the author as well. Thank you.

    Getting to know true heroes

For most of my life I have played team sports and understand the importance of being a part of something greater than myself, but this is so different. Instead of being a sports team and competing for a trophy, Brandon and his friends are a team of warriors who fight together protecting one another in battle for our safety. The loss of one of these men is like losing a teammate, only they happen to be a part of your family as well. I have read quite a few SEAL books now and can really get the sense of how tight knit this community really is. Another fantastic read from Brandon. Our service men and women are truly my heroes and I sleep easier knowing these “rough men are standing by.”
