    Enjoyable Addition to the series

Alyssa Day - April in Atlantis: A Poseidon’s Warriors paranormal romance novel April in Atlantis has been a bit of a wait but worth it. King Conlan has formed a second group of special forces Poseidon’s Elite Warriors”. Finally there is a female warrior, April, she is a proud capable woman who excels at the bow and arrow. April has worked hard to be accepted on this team and to be treated as any other warrior. When in the midst of a battle she runs into Pine, Prince of the Wolf Shifters. Although they save each other’s lives, April wants nothing to do with the gorgeous wolf shifter, even though his sexy Scottish accent makes her melt a little. She wants nothing to come in the way of her career. Pine and King Conlan have been working on the two groups getting closer. Pine realizes there’s something special that draws him to the feisty female warrior. He convinces Conlan to assign her as an Ambassador to his county. Of course April was. It thrilled with this position but agrees to follow orders. As April adjusts to being Ambassador she and Pine grow closer. This is a very enjoyable novella in the warriors of Poseidon’s spinoff series. All the books in the series have been quick enjoyable reads with just the right amounts of drama, humor, wit, and sexy romance. It’s also very awesome that we get to see a kick-ass female warrior. .

    Quick fun romance!

This short novella was a quick, romantic, fun read. While I do wish we had a little more detail on April and Pine’s whirlwind courtship, the story was still very satisfying, having all the great earmarks of this author’s great writing. The interlude into the arc of the overall story was great and just what you need if you’re looking for a fast read on a dreary afternoon. I do recommend!! I was provided the e-book which I reviewed voluntarily.

April in Atlanta by Alyssa Day

April in Atlantis by Alyssa Day A paranormal novella from the spin off Atlantis series. Can be read as a standalone romance. April is a warrior. The minute Pine sets eyes on April, he is determined to have her as his own. Making her Ambassador from Atlantis to the Scottish werewolf clan is a perfect plan to have her spend time with him. Unfortunately, April is just not the Ambassador type. Fun, fast and adorable, this 90 page novella has humor and love. Perfect for an afternoon escape.

Get Comfy, Grab the Book and revel

I don't think Alyssa Day could write a bad book if she tried. I have been on board since her first Warriors of Poseidon, Atlantis Rising. I remember my sister and I read it at the same time and had laughter, fanning from the hotness and worry for our hero. This short Novella (book 4) in the spinoffs provides the same in a novella form. Get comfy, grab the book, revel in the strength, understand the insecurity, fan yourself over that hot Werewolf Prince, yes, yes, not what they prefer to be called, smile at the wit and snark, and just know you are in for pure enjoyment. I requested, received and arc and voluntarily leave this review. All thoughts and opinions are my own and were unsolicited.

    April in Atlantis

I loved this book and the series, along with the original Poseidon Warriors, that got me hooked a couple of years ago. The only negative is that once I start reading these books I can't put them down and then the story is finished. Looking forward to the next book in the series.
