    Big Rock ROCKED my world!

So we all know I am a sucker for a catchy blurb - throw in a hot cover and you have caught this book whore hook, line and sinker. We all need to smile more and this sexy, dirty romantic comedy hit every right spot with me and I couldn't stop smiling. Let me tell you I opened up this book started that prologue and fell in LOVE! Honestly, just every single thing about it was sheer PERFECTION! First off male POV! And what a male POV it was! He was talking to ME! Cue giddy giggles! And maybe a few blushes (because I am as white as a ghost so really I blush easily!) No really Spencer was talking right to ME, not you or anyone else, ME! That hooked me right in. Helps that it was so hilarious. Spencer was downright cocky. But as you get to know him you see he is that rarity. The guy that truly has it all. That guy we dream about, read about, swoon over... *sigh* He is ALL that, and he KNOWS it! Should make him completely unbearable, right? But is deals with everything with so much humor and with such underlying sweetness that I had a huge grin on my face the entire time. Friends to lovers stories are always so wonderful and watching what happens between Spencer and Charlotte is fabulous! It was great to watch Charlotte make Spencer squirm! And the chemistry between them was HOT! Plus their relationship and banter!! Great banter in a romantic comedy is KEY! Everything just sparked and came to life for me. I can not say enough good things about Big Rock! And I don't want to give anything away. Here is what you really NEED to know.. Go. Buy. This. Book. BOOM! There it is. You will thank me. I received a complimentary copy of Big Rock in exchange for my honest review.

    Big Rock

I will start by saying it's been awhile since I've read a book that has had me laughing out loud from the first page. I've enjoyed sexually explicit romantic comedies but never written from the male POV. Miss Blakely did an outstanding job of keeping the readers interest and I have to say she has an incredible sense of humour. Her ribald humour had me in stitches at times and I am definitely recommending this book to anyone that loves a good romantic comedy. I am so looking forward to her next book with Nick and Harper.

    Delightful - Steamy, Fun, Romantic

Thought it would be Steamy (and there's lots of that) but at it's heart is a HEA Romance. Loved it - fun, witty, entertaining, seriously steamy story of Best Friends to Lovers that evolves into an adorably romantic, 'You're-The-One' believable love story. Nice to see a story where Hero and his family have a healthy, supportive, loving relationship. 5 Star - going on my 2016 Favourites List.

    Oh. My. God!!!!

This book is awesome! I strongly recommend you don't start this book before bed, as you will not want to put it down. I was up til 2am just so I could finish it (and my kids wake at 5!) LOVE that it was all in Spencer's point of view. LOVE the plot. LOVE LOVE LOVE the characters. I have definitely found my new favourite author!

Big Props for Big Rock! Five-plus stars!

Friends-to-lovers is probably my favorite romance trope, regardless of which age group the main characters may be in, and because there are quite a number out there that have two friends that have either one or both of the friends with hidden feelings of love and longing, it's always a breath of fresh air when you've got two best friends who are exactly that: best friends. Spencer and Charlotte have been friends since their college days at Yale University, but neither has entertained thoughts of pursuing a romantic relationship with the other. They've been involved with other people and they've remained the best of friends while starting a highly successful business together. Their friendship is genuine, and it's only after Charlotte agrees to be Spencer's fake fiancée do they even begin to contemplate crossing that line between friends and lovers. Striking that delicate balance being friends and being lovers is just part of this fantastic story, because it's also about family and the integrity within relationships and with ourselves. Spencer and Charlotte's love story followed the beat of their own drummer, refusing to be tied down by the well-worn story lines of romantic comedies past. These two are irresistible as individuals and as a couple. Spencer has officially become my first book boyfriend of 2016. He's an honest-to-goodness good guy who has a huge heart prepared to do anything and everything for his family and his closest friends. He's gorgeous and hot but he doesn't treat women like commodities. But for as much as he thinks he knows about what it is that women want, there's still a thing or two (or more) that he can learn when it comes to what makes them tick. Charlotte is, indeed, the perfect woman for him. She gets him in a way no other woman--not even his mother or sister--does and she's fun and secure in who she is, not looking to Spencer for any sort of validation. The bar has been set really high for Mister Orgasm, which I've strangely seen two different blurbs for. Big Rock is a highly recommended read and it gets five-plus stars. ♥
